Spring

I love that gentle breeze that sighs on this fine day
It blows right through the trees and cools along the way
Scents of springtime a lovely bouquet
Sweet sunrays upon my skin awaken me today

In the air I hear the buzzing of the bees
Birds are building nests that hide among the leaves
See the colours of the flowers and the trees
As I lie here in the grass I’m totally at ease

Fresh green grass is growing here beside the road

We venture outside suitably unclothed
I love to watch this season suddenly explode
