In spite of everything we’re told
‘Bout ageing gracefully

Standards seem to vary
Between me and all the men
Am I old and wrinkly
Must never be seen again

Where are all of the vanguards
Trailblazing for me
Nip and tuck and botox
Is all that I can I see

Where have all the real women gone?

Saggy bottoms, baggy eyes
Wonky teeth and all
Mummy tummies, hamster cheeks
Go bathe in retinol

All the men that I can see
Clearly do not care
They don’t have a sell-by date
Even without hair
